Distribution
Endemic. North Island from the Huiarau south to the Ruahine Range, also locally present along the Lake Taupo shoreline. South Island, Marlborough and northern Canterbury.
Propagation Technique
Easy from fresh seed and semi-hardwood cuttings. Prefers a sunny aspect, and a free draining but damp soil. Probably best in apot.
