Brief Description

Shrub of Northland forests. Leaves vary, <3cm long, red spotted, with uneven large teeth on margin. Young twigs downy. Flower white, tubular, drooping, inconspicuous. Fruit fleshy, red.

Easy from cuttings but very hard to maintain once rooted. Seed is very difficult to germinate. Does best in a semi-shaded site but difficult to maintain.
