Distribution
Indigenous. Australia and New Zealand. Known from the North Island (lower Waikato - Huntly Basin especially) and in the South Island from Arthurs Pass National Park.
Fruiting
Fruits have been observed and these seem to be sporadically produced throughout the year.
Threats
Not Threatened. Seeming rather uncommon and often confined to calcareous substrates within wetland systems.
