Features
Colonies amphigenous, but mainly on the upper leaf surface, sometimes extending through to the opposite surface or just causing a slight discolouration on the opposite surface, black, roughly circular, up to 1.25 cm diameter with a fringed margin. Perithecia flattened, minute, aggregated. Asci ovate, 8-spored. Spores elliptical, obtuse, 1-septate, dark brown, 15 x 8 µm.
Fruiting
Collected in 1909, January 1982, September 1990 and 1994, and December 1945, 1963, and 1982.
Substrate
Colonies parasitic on leaves of Heimerliodendron brunonianum, Knightia excelsa, Pisonia brunoniana.
