Features
Pycnidia on internodes of mistletoe, raised, globose, shiny black, up to 0.25 mm diameter, often aggregated. This specific fungus has not been described. The conidia of Phyllosticta species are usually hyaline, unicellular, with a hyaline, filiform, apical appendage. Conidia vary in shape, often being globose to broadly ellipsoidal. Phyllosticta species in general cause leaf spots, but may also attack fruits or young stems of plants.
