  1. Red fruit shrub/small trees identification

  2. Hi there, I am trying to get the names right for a few small trees with similar small orange/red fruit that I come across a lot on my walks. Would someone be able to have a look at the attached photo and clarify. Is the first a taupata and the second a karamu ? No idea re the other two. Any help appreciated as I am teaching my kids the trees but am learning myself.
    Cheers

  3. From left to right: Coprosma repens, Coprosma robusta, Viburnum (of some sort - need more information and postings of flowers, fruits, foliage, growth habit etc) and the last is a Cotoneaster - I am not good with these AT ALL - but someone else may wish to hazard a guess

  4. Thats great, thanks Peter. Pleasantly surprised i got the first two right. The non natives are difficult as it is hard to know where to start. Now i know where to look the cotoneaster looks like the coriaceus but at this stage I'm happy to know the genus
