    Hi,
    could some one kindly help me identify these this grass. see attached photos. if it is not a native is there any way of controlling it. it seems to be smothering our natives.

    There are two possibilities that spring to mind - Entolasia marginata (see http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=3876) or Oplismenus imbecillus - see http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=2208 for which we don't seem to have any good growth habit images - so try this http://naturewatch.org.nz/observations/999859
