    Can someone confirm this lovely scented flower is that of Clematis cunninghamii.
    Found at Castle Hill Scenic Reserve rocks (Kura tawhiti) on 5th November, 2017.

    Hi Alison - this looks like Clematis marata, a common liane of dryland scrub etc. in eastern South Island.

    John is correct - besides which Clematis cunninghamii is endemic to the northern North Island
