    I seem to have this creeper that has invaded my flax patch. The flower is white but the leaves and seed pods are like those of Chilean glory vine. What's the best method to get rid of it - other than dig it out, as it is popping up absolutely every where. Seems to have travelled below concrete paths too! Thank you.

    Can you please post an image of the plant? Your description does not sound like Eccremocarpus scaber - which I have personally never seen wild or in cultivation in Auckland. To help answer your question we need to be sure of the plants identity.
