  2. My kaka beak has lost all leaf this summer. We are in drought but it lost leaf before Jan. Will the laeaves come back or do you think it has died.

  3. Hi Sally - kakabeak do loose their leaves when they are water-stressed. If you catch it only a few days after leaf fall it usually revives but if it's been a month it is unlikely to recover. I would trim its branches back, water it well and you might be lucky. When you trim it you will be able to tell if it is dead - if the branches are still green and fresh it is a good sign.
