Kia Ora, in our garden a substantial approx 6 tonne branch has partially fallen over six months ago, still receiving tree nutrients but lying on the floor and branch shootlings are thriving, we want to transfer these sections of the fallen branch to plant elsewhere in the garden, can you recommend the best time to do so? Thank you All the best Kim

  3. Are you sure it's Mida salicifolia. It looks more like a willow to me and if so shooting from the fallen branch is likely. By now the whole tree should be losing its leaves.

  4. And if it is a willow then you don't want to spread it around.
