    Dear Forum
    I found this cluster of seeds underneath a mature Tagaste tree while weeding. I'm inclined to think that they are Pigeonwood - Hedycarya arborea, but I have not seen a pigeonwood seed in the wild, and cannot find a photo of a seed anywhere online. The local kereru frequent the trees and there is a healthy population of Pigeonwood less than a kilometer away. The seeds are approx. 5mm x 10mm
