Well imagine our interest when purely by accident we discovered that we had a red Kaka Beak in the front section... such a lovely plant and even now it is still covered in its bright flowers - funny season this year.
SO is it the funny "mild" winter with warm patches that is confusing this tree and why flowers and new growth are present still in mid winter or is it something wrong with the tree?
TO the main question; how and when does one prune this tree?
Thanks, Pete
