    Given its patchy distribution, is Whau appropriate for Otaki River restoration project?

    Hi Barbara, Whau is generally associated with areas where Maori Pa were found. The only area in the Kapiti Coast, they have been recorded at length is in Paekakariki. The sites in Waikanae/Paraparaumu are not confirmed as natural.
