    The Andrew Crowe book on Native edible plants says that the inner parts of the fruits and pickled leaves were eaten - PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT YOU DO EAT IT - YOU WILL BE EATING THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
