    Will shiitake mushrooms grow on the logs of Quintinia if inoculated with shiitake spawn?

    No Idea. One website says Shiitake mushrooms are traditionally grown outdoors on seasoned hardwood logs - preferably oak, although maple, birch, poplar, aspen, beech, and other species have also been used successfully.
