The New Zealand Plant Conservation Network

Seeds? Unsure why this plant is so elusive and not commonly in garden centers. Also confused why seeds are not available. It's adorable, frankly, and fairly easy to grow. Keenly interested in obtaining some seeds (I have an import license to the US). Has anyone had success finding/germinating seeds?

You're right, this plant is beautiful and could be appreciated more if it were in cultivation. I suspect the reason it's not available for export is collection to send overseas is not generally permitted on public conservation land, and private landowners who have properties where this plant grows are not interested in collecting and exporting seed.
