  1. Veronica pubescens subsp. pubescens

  2. Does Veronica pubescens only found in the Waikato region? or this species distributed in the other region like Bay of Plenty as well? Thanks

  3. The species fact sheet developed by Peter de Lange with information from Bayly et al. (2003) states it occurs in the North Island (Coromandel Peninsula, Papanui Point, Pakihi and Rotoroa Islands). Tony Druce has recorded it once in the Bay of Plenty
Note also, Tony Druce recorded it in 1990 at Hukutaia Domain Opotiki (HIKD) in the Bay of Plenty http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/observation_site_details.asp?sid=2707. This seems outside it's restricted range and might be an incorrect ID.
