Hi, I am having trouble deciding which Euphrasia this is that I found on Anchor Island. Can anyone help identify it for me? My thought is E. dyeria, although the flowers look more like E. repens on the website. Thanks
I also found this version on the island which had completely white flowers and consisted of small clumps instead of a having a creeping habit like the other specimens. Only found the white version at a single site on the island
Euphrasia is a bit of a struggle to identify, particularly from photos. The key in Flora I should get you close to the correct species. E. dyeri looks more likely than E. repens which forms mats. The Genus is also being reappraised by Bill Barker in Australia so hopefully we'll get a better key soon
