    The image shows a trunk sporting kidney fern (Cardiomanes reniforme), a juvenile Clematis and what appears to be a juvenile rata (Metrosideros spp.). I assume the kidney fern is the plant you wanted identified, if so check it out at http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=1322
