  1. Craspedia major

  2. Where is this species or what is it synonomised with?

  3. The listing nzpcn uses was derived from the initial ponderings of the late A.P. Druce supplemented by what Landcare was then accepting (2005). As you will know Craspedia is taxonomically "difficult" and is only now (2013) starting to be actively revised. I will look into the status of Craspedia major but accept that for some taxa in fickle or poorly understood genera you may have to decide yourself what names to use.

  4. Thought that was the case. It was one name that I couldn't find, even under your very comprehensive synonymies. Craspedia is in such a state of flux that I would support having a factsheet for each of the named species (I think C. major is the only one missing) with a statement that the genus is under revision and that the status of some of these species is likely to change

  5. I will look into it Mike. But not immediately.
