    Hi there,

    This red plant featured in the picture was found in the South Wairarapa district and I am unsure what sort of plant it is any ideas?

    hi Aprille,
    Looks like a dead of of common dock, Rumex obtusifolius, from last year just the leaves haven't come through yet, or it has died after flowering which happens quite often. That might explain the lush growth of dandelion and clover around the stem.
