  1. Cassia leptophylla - keep or toss?

  2. Hi, Ive noticed this plant succesfully self seeding in my garden. I like it. Should I keep them or are they are threat and should I pull them out? Any advice helpful. Thanks

  3. As far as we know this tree has yet to prove troublesome. I have collected it sparingly naturalising around Auckland. My impression is it's one people should monitor to see what it does. So be sensible. Keep your plants but watch how many self seedings occur. If it gets too much remove them all and let NZPCN know.

  4. Thanks Peter de Lange for your response. I've just had a closer look at how many have self seeded around the original tree and there are LOADS...over 60!, Within a 3m radius of original tree. I will post a photo once I learn to load the image on to my computer. But, I'm thinking 60+ is more 'weed' than "tree". Ill post image in a few days.

  5. Interesting. I agree. Maybe conditions for its self-establishment are improving. This will of course happen eventually. It's how so many of our past ornamentals became our current weeds.
