  1. Clianthus (Kaka beak)

  2. I have several seeds from the autumn/spring flowerings, what is the best way to germinate these? Any suggestions appreciated.

  3. Carefully abrade or nick seed coat, then soak overnight in cold water. Sow into pots or seed tray and treat as you would any other seed. Easy to germinate but watch seedlings for bugs etc.

  4. Thanks again Peter.

  5. I've found the easiest way to nick hard seeds such as kowhai is with nail clippers, (choosing the correct end of the seed).
