Can anyone help out with an ID for this plant found growing in a farm dam in the Manawatu? The photo was sent to me by the landowner - apologies for the quality.
Ottelia ovalifolia (Hydrochartiaceae) - introduced plant - generally not a problem but can clog ponds and dams
