  1. Flowering dune plant ID

    Hi there guys,

    I've had a crack at ID'ing the plants in these two photos using Interactive ID's by Landcare Research but, unfortunately, I only have the photos to use (it's from an e-mail query).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    These are Gazania linearis, introduced from South Africa and very popular garden plants which do well in sunny, dry sites but can be pretty weedy. http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=3965

    Thanks a million Jesse, that's a big help. Thanks for the welcome too. I've been lurking around the place for a while, it's such a useful resource!

    I'll be sure to post more often about some of the threatened plant work we do in the Coromandel, it's interesting stuff.
