  2. Photo 4_4 leaves have prominent midribs on the underside.
    there must be an easier way to do this.

    And after I'd submitted this one it dawned on me that I could be adding photos as comments although that is still tedious.

    I'll reconsider that, G. maxima crossed my mind for a start but then I discounted it as it didn't appear to be septate. I'll drag it out of the press and have closer look. It also doesn't look like the G. maxima I'm used to from the Buller.

  7. And septate it is but only at the base of the blade, I'll give it a tentative G. maxima for now and catch up with it again in 6 months, Thanks again Mike.
