I presume is some exotic, doesn't look native. for a friend, thanks
Looks like exotic spindleberry to me - perhaps Euonymus japonicus
Euonymus sp. Invasive (in Hawkes Bay). Exterminate
Possibly Euonymus europaeus. Was it a tree? This species found scattered in North Island and to me seems on the verge of also become a pest. Getting rid of it good idea
It is a tree approximately 10m high
If a tree then it is E. europaeus with not ripe fruit
Your comments have been really helpful. Thanks for getting me on the right track. Since it's a tree and not deciduous - I'm leaning more to Euonymus japonicus (and not just because it is so much to say).
