  1. I would appreciate the ID of this plant photographed at Otari-Wilton Gardens.

    Photographed June. The leaves are hairy on both surfaces. The leaves are brown on the underside.

    I can't see the leaves very well but its probably Myosotis pottsiana, or failing that M. pansa subsp. pansa - Mike Thorsen will probably be able to clarify this for you but I am pretty happy it is M. pottsiana - see http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=764

    My thoughts are it is Myosotis venosa. Anther projection does not look long enough for any of the old M. petiolata group to which M. pottsiana belongs.
