I think this is Hypericum rubicundundulum, previously reported from this site. (Kuripapango Lakes S Kaweka Ra). Growing in the very damp area on the shore of a small lake
Looks like H. pusillum to me - but you can't easily work from images like this Mike - and I only know H. rubicundulum from one sighting at Ohau Tarns, a few garden plants I counted the chromosomes of and did DNA extractions from - all in 2001.. Hi Mike, Kaweka Lakes is the only North Island locality for H. rubicundulum, based on cultivated material originally collected by me. I remember it not being infrequent along the lake margin.
