  1. Metrosideros lianes

    Are there Metrosideros lianes which are sold in garden centres that are not NZ endemic metrosideros lianes? I have checked out the Tahitian variety that is shown in the species list. The plant I am trying to ID is not that one or any of the NZ species.

    Not that I am aware of (but ti is always possible) - any chance of posting up an image of this vine? Flowers and close u of foliage, leaf top and undersides would greatly help.

    Hi Kath - NZPCN is not sure why your images would not load up - but they sent them to me. Your mystery Metrosideros is our endemic M. carmine.
