The New Zealand Plant Conservation Network

I have a herb growing in my garden that I can't identify, nor can my colleagues. Ibought it a year or so ago along wth some other herbs and now it is growing quite tall.
It smells a bit like sage and a bit lemony taste.

Hi Gil, I am sorry there is not much to go on here - but have you considered it may be Bergamot (Monarda didyma)?

Thanks Peter. I think you are rght. I had another look at the plant this morning and my book on herbs and it matches well. I look forward to seeing some flowers on the plant which is quite bushy now.
