    It seems that all of the brief descriptions to species in this genus use the term 'seeds' while I am quite sure you meant to say 'spores' ! A copy and paste mistake, easy to make.

    Hi Larry and Mike - I will fix these - but I am not responsible for these 'brief descriptions' either. These were not my idea but I gather they were initiated by past members keen to 'make our descriptions more accessible' to 'non botanists' and also for an APP the society has been working on.

    All Cyatheaceae and Dicksoniaceae fact sheets are now corrected for this blunder. Thanks for pointing it out.
