found in the Kimberley Reserve near Levin
Lastreopsis hispida by the look of it L. velutina is softly hairy and a duller plant. http://nzpcn.org.nz/flora_search.aspx?scfSubmit=1&scfStart_Results=&scfFlora_Category=&scfLatin_Name=lastreopsis&scfCommon_Name=&scfFamily_Name=&scfDistrict=&scfAncestry=&scfFlora_Structural_Class=&scfFlora_Status=
This could also just be a young frond of Dicksonia. Its pretty hard to tell without a photo of the sori on the underside of the fronds.
Hi, Rowan, It's 5 years ago that we were in the Kimberley Reserve. But I think the fern looks like a Lastreopsis. Thank you
