    Lastreopsis hispida by the look of it L. velutina is softly hairy and a duller plant.

    This could also just be a young frond of Dicksonia. Its pretty hard to tell without a photo of the sori on the underside of the fronds.

    Hi, Rowan, It's 5 years ago that we were in the Kimberley Reserve. But I think the fern looks like a Lastreopsis.
