  1. Impact of NZPCN website

  2. This is not a query; more a comment. Having lectured for the last few years in planting design at Victoria University, I see firsthand the value of the NZPCN website in introducing a wide range of native plants to people who are relatively new to our native flora. It is used very extensively (and has become the primary authoritative resource), and the fact that it is full of good images is compelling for those who are learning more. I'm conscious that the main feedback received about the website generally regards corrections, so it is therefore nice to state the tangible value that the website is having beyond botanical circles (especially considering the enormous amount of work put in by members like Peter de Lange, John Sawyer, Jesse Bythell and others).

  3. I'm pleased to add to the praise of the site, in particular for the help I've gained from it in my quest for botanical knowledge. I use it as much for exotics as for natives. It complements NatureWatch very nicely and I hope that eventually the relationship between the two will be even closer.

  4. Thanks for the kind feedback - this site is a labour of love for many people. Jeremy Rolfe and Colin Ogle put in a huge amount of time too.

  5. Yes have to agree, great site!
