    Tuna Trc reserve, Titahi Bay, Porirua. There was 5 finger in the area.

    Hi John,
    That looks exactly like Fatsia japonica, which is a weed in that context.

    I agree with Philip. I think Fatsia is on noxious weed lists for many areas. It would pay to let whoever administers the reserve know its present there, especially if there are many plants.

    I will remove the Fatsia. As you can see from the image, overall things are positive for what was a gully of gorse 20 years ago.
