  1. Lavandula dentata or French Lavender seed?

    I am gathering information for a pressed plant collection assignment and I can not find information about the seed of this plant anywhere. I have to state what type of seed pod this plant has. If you have any information or anywhere I can look to find this information that would be very greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

    Hi Danielle, this is a member of the Lamiaceae family. This family has small (c. 1mm long) shiny hard seeds that are held in a horizontal dry capsule and are freed when the plant is shaken by wind or animals. I would think Lavandula would have this type of seed
