Hi everyone Mel & Pam here. We are two young women starting a women label here in NZ with our first collection due in a few months . The vision of our brand is to empower women and its also really important for us to do some good for this beautiful country we are so lucky to live in. We were really inspired by a tour we took in Rotorua that gave us an inside look at all these amazing people doing amazing things to preserve the beauty. So we are hoping someone could stare us in the right direction. Our first thought was for every item sold we could plant a tree and really show the young girls who buy our clothes the importance of looking after our country. Does anyone know how we would go about something like this? or have any suggestions for other ways we could help out or you point us towards someone who could We would really appreciate any help at all Thanks in advance Pam & Mel
HI Pam and Mel. Great idea! We're about to kick off several conservation initiatives, have a look at http://www.endangeredspecies.org.nz. If you're interested in being involved give me a call on 0273500175 Great that someone wants to help out New Zealand's wonderful plants! Mike
Hi Mel and Pam, It is great to hear that you are thinking of organising such a conservation aspect to your clothing label. I look forward to seeing it become available, All the best, Angela
