  1. Carex species

  2. Hello, I am looking for images of Carex species in a garden setting or true landscaping with Carex species. I am German horticulturist and I am very interested in New Zealand plants. In October I will give a talk about Carex species of New Zealand. For the presentation I am missing some photos of differrent Carex species used as a garden plant, in public spaces or for landscaping. I would be very happy if somebody has something appropriate. Thank you, Anne Humburg

  3. Hi Anne, Carex testacea being block planted for orange colour effect in a stormwater retention pond. Landscape Architects plan with no appreciation of habitat requirements for this or the other sedge used C. secta. You might also approach a magazine such as NZ Gardener, although they may not understand 'sedge' as sedge's are usually described as grasses in the garden mags.
