  1. naturalised species list

    I am attempting to validated names of the naturalised species list (http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/publications/Naturalised-list-06-new.pdf) and struggle with the following three, constantly rejected by ITIS, theplantlist.org and GBIF:
    Sisyrinchium "yellow"
    Lampranthus "Hunter Gully"
    Sisyrinchium "blue"
    Lampranthus "purple"
    nzpcn.or.nz states that the names are not accepted. Can you help out with accepted synonyms or references? I am interested to know if there is a 'more' upto date version of the list and where the year of naturalisation on the individual species pages on http://www.nzpcn.org.nz is derived from.

    Hi Phillip

    Entering just the generic name brings up both sysirinchium species and also Lampranthus "Hunter Gullying". The date naturalised is on the information page for those species. No idea about Lampranthus "yellow"

    The book " An illustrated Guide to Common Weeds of New Zealand" says that both the sysirinchiums are unnamed entities which may turn out to be subspecies of S. Iridifolium.
